WELCOME to the home of Brothers Grimmer.
Following the launch of their Second Album "The Big Red Book Of Nursery Rants", Brothers Grimmer are revving up for a busy year. They are a well known band from the Bournemouth area and are currently doing events as far as Kent.
Having been in the Final of Talent Call, and performers in the event 'Bandalism' that saw more than 900 people attend, Brothers Grimmer have played shows twice at the prestigious O2 Academy Bounemouth... as well as the Pavillion Theatre in Bournemouth. They made a recent appearance at Mr Kyps also performing next to 'The Fall' - a band going since the 1970's with a 29 album long career... to a 300+ strong audience.
Things are picking up fast for Brothers Grimmer thanks to their new Booking agent Mumma Grimmer (Jan Rogers) and writer of the accompanying books 'The Grimmer Spirits'... a collection of tales often compared with the likes of Terry Pratchett, that grow with each album.
The 3rd album is in the gestation period, and they are looking at festival dates. Already booked is the BCF local festival. Having been interviewed on Fire Radio and Bay Radio, they are looking to up the ante this year even further.
Brothers Grimmer are often compared with a variety of bands depending on the track but could be called psychedelic rock fusion.
Try and imagine that all members of Led Zepplin, Tool, Jethro Tull, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Radiohead and Prodigy had donated cells to a scientist lab for studies.
Suppose a Stan Lee (Marvel Comics) style accident happened and they all conjoined to create a mutant band. The resulting abomination would almost be Brothers Grimmer ...
The general opinion of fans and reviews so far confirms. This is something rare, and one of a kind.
